I then completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery (MIGS) at Penn State. During my time as a fellow, I made the HCAHPS Inpatient Dean’s List for extraordinary patient satisfaction (>/= 99% among providers nationwide). After graduation, I then worked at the Yale School of Medicine, where I served as the Associate Program Director for the Ob-Gyn Residency program. During my time there, I was also awarded the Gynecologic Surgical Teaching Award and the Nathan Case Award for teaching and mentoring.

Dr. De La Cruz received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She is double-board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. De La Cruz is originally from the Bronx, New York. During her fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill, she loved living in the Triangle area. She then practiced for almost eight years in Portland, Oregon where she was awarded Top Doc in Portland Monthly in 2021 and 2022.
She is excited to be back on the east coast and provide excellent comprehensive pelvic care to the women of North Carolina at Wake Women’s Health!
In her downtime, Dr. De La Cruz enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to eat out at new restaurants, cook and run.
