
Dr. Wanda Radford grew up in Cliffside, NC and graduated from Wake Forest University with cum laude honors in biology. She received her MD degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, followed by a rotating internship in medicine and pediatrics. She completed her residency in Richmond at the Medical College of Virginia, where she served as Chief Resident. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Radford began private practice in Richmond and served on the Attending staff at MCV before coming to Raleigh. She previously practiced at Capital Area Ob/Gyn, leaving in April 2010 to help start Wake Women’s Health.
Dr. Radford is married with one child and, when not caring for patients, enjoys cooking, music, and being a supportive parent.
