Additional Billing Information

You will receive separate bills (other than from Wake Women’s Health) for any procedure performed by our physician at an ambulatory center or hospital. Any bill you receive
from us will be for the physician’s services; the bill you receive from the center
or hospital is for the use of their facility. Any questions pertaining to
bills from other providers should be directed to that provider,
and not to WIMC.

Medicare

Wake Women’s Health (WWH) participates with several HMO and PPO insurance plans. Please note, however, that WWH is a non-participating Medicare provider and that we do not participate with any Medicare Advantage plans.

Medicare Advantage Plans

A Medicare Advantage plan is Medicare coverage through a private health insurance provider. These plans have policy restrictions that differ from traditional Medicare coverage, and because of these unique policies, Wake Internal Medicine has decided not to contract with any of these plans. This means we are unable to provide any services to those with a Medicare Advantage plan.
